Happy Memorial Day Weekend Family & Friends

This photo was sent in by Pam Miller Hoskins (Daughter of Garth and Bobbie Miller) This is Pam's husband Bill. He served in the Navy for 9 years, then remained in Active Reserves. Although the Navy was his branch of the service, as a Medical Corpsman he was reactivated during the Gulf War, and served with the Marines in Saudi Arabia, thus the desert photo. We're proud of you Bill and thanks for serving our country! Thanks for the photo Pam!

This is my Dad, husband of Nelda Miller Gust, Bill Gust who served in the United States Army during WWII, where he qualified for the Bronze Star, but did not receive it until over 50 years later. He fought many battles, including the Battle of the Bulge. He met General Eisenhower face to face and worked after the war was ended in an ordinance depot just blocks from where General Patton was killed while traveling in a motorcade.

My hubby also served in the United States Air Force and we are hoping family members might have a photo of him somewhere.

I was thrilled to receive several photos from Shirley Kunz Williams (Aunt Jessie's (Goldie's sister) youngest daughter) and glad to know they have been enjoying the blog too! We were hoping to connect and reconnect with family members out there! Thanks so much Shirley!

Thanks Uncle Ralph for serving your country in the Navy!

He looks good in his sailor's hat too, but we were always used to him in a cowboy hat!

We are proud of you!
You will always be a hero in our hearts!

Calling for any Military photos of family members

From now (Armed Forces Day) to the end of the month (Memorial Day) I thought it might be fun to post military photos of any family members. They can be from any era, living now, or in heaven. Please email me any photos you may have to share with the family. Thanks! amanda@pmt.org

More Family Photos from 2004!

This was the Fall of 2004, when Auntie Nola and Jim attended Eric's baptism......
They are pictured here with Misty and Brian. They sent the stool up with Uncle Garth that Jim and Auntie had made for Mandy.
Uncle Garth and Aunt Bobbie were headed to Pam's in Boise for a baby blessing...Mandy still has her little Precious Moments statue!

And Mom was here for Mandy's baptism. Uncle Garl and Carol came over from Shelley for the mini family reunion and brought Mandy a special baptism book for everyone to sign. Mandy had never had so many fans at one of her basketball games!

Aunt Bobbie and Mandy under the apples trees! There were lots that went to the deer and racoons that year!

Some Photos of Grandma Miller at her Spinning Wheel

Grandma Miller

Uncle Garth with Grandma Miller 1971

Uncle Garl, Bill, Billy Gene with Grandma Miller.
Norma and Billy Gene with Grandma Miller. I am not sure the date, but Billy Gene was born in 1968, and he can't be more than two, maybe three here.
Looks like Grandma is knitting here.
